• Education: First, you will be provided with detailed information about what will be done during the treatment process. You will be informed about the treatment plan, medication usage, and procedures to be performed, and your consent will be obtained.
• Ovarian Stimulation: Based on your examination and test results, a treatment plan will be started. During this period, the development of the eggs will be monitored with vaginal ultrasounds and hormone measurements at 2-4 day intervals. This phase typically lasts 7-10 days.
• Egg Retrieval: Once the eggs are ready, a trigger shot will be given, and 36 hours after the injection, the eggs will be collected. The egg retrieval is performed under vaginal ultrasound guidance with fine needles. It is not a very painful procedure, and can be done with local anesthesia and sedatives. However, to avoid stress, this procedure is done under general anesthesia in our clinic, and our patients do not feel anything. Resting for one day is recommended.
• Sperm Collection: On the same day as egg retrieval, sperm will be collected either naturally or, if not possible, via surgical procedures.
• Laboratory Procedures: One day after egg and sperm collection, you will be informed about how many eggs were fertilized. In the following days, the development of the embryos will be monitored, and you will be given information about embryo quality and quantity.
• Embryo Transfer: In collaboration with the clinic team and the embryology laboratory, the day with the highest chance for embryo success will be determined, and the embryos will be transferred on that day. This period typically falls between the 2nd and 5th days after egg retrieval. The transfer is not a painful procedure.
• Post-Transfer: After resting for a few hours at our clinic, you may leave and resume your daily activities, as long as you avoid heavy physical exertion and stress. During this period, the treatment plan that you will follow until the pregnancy test is performed will be explained to you.

Infertility is defined as the inability to conceive after one year of trying, but if pregnancy is not achieved after 6 months, a general check-up is recommended. If no issues are found during the initial examination, young couples are advised to complete the one-year period. For those over 35 years of age or with known risks, it is necessary to seek treatment. At ages over 38, it is truly important to act quickly.

When choosing an IVF center, it is important to select institutions with a highly skilled team, the latest technological equipment, and extensive knowledge. You must place your full trust in the center where you begin your treatment and feel comfortable entrusting yourself to them. Otherwise, every external comment or suggestion might raise doubts in your mind. When you visit a center, you should feel free to ask everything, as many times as needed. Communication is as important for you as it is for us. Sometimes, a procedure that is technically the right choice for you may be psychologically uncomfortable. Therefore, correct communication can prevent such issues from escalating and resolve them quickly.

In good centers, under ideal conditions, a success rate of 50-60% can be achieved. However, the success rate in IVF depends on the characteristics of the couple.
